Cameras. Records. Accountability.
Track verified camera locations and search sourced police accountability records across Riverside County.
Why I built this
Local, on purpose.
I’m Jess. Too often, information about public surveillance and police accountability is buried in agendas, contracts and scattered records. Residents are left trying to piece it together ourselves.
Camera Watch keeps sourced records, reports and evidence in one place. It is for the community, built with the community.
Riverside County public records
Search the official archive.
Search by officer name, badge number or official case number. Every match opens the original government record.
Read the complaint process and access the complaint form on POST’s official website. Opens in a new tab.
Results reproduce the status stated in official source records. Allegations, sustained findings and employment actions are not interchangeable. Camera Watch does not infer wrongdoing beyond the cited document.

Your draft
Subject: Request for a written response about camera placement or location To the appropriate Murrieta official, I am writing to raise a concern about camera placement or location in Murrieta. [Describe the location, date, camera, incident or policy concern here.] Please provide a written response identifying the responsible agency, the policy or authority governing this matter, and any available review or appeal process. If this involves surveillance technology, please also explain the system owner, data-retention period, who may access the data, how access is audited, and how residents can challenge inaccurate or improper use. Thank you.
